Pavel Roland joined IDC CEMA in 2004. As a senior research analyst for the Systems group, he is responsible for the standard research, analysis, and consulting engagements of vertical markets and SMB markets in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Additionally, he coordinates the CEMA IT Black Book program.
As a member of the Systems group, which conducts research covering PCs, servers, workstations, and storage, he gathers and analyzes data for quarterly trackers and annual studies that focus on the Middle East and Africa region.
Prior to IDC, Mr. Roland worked with a research group that dealt with application services providers where he conducted focus group surveys on the CRM markets in the Czech Republic.
Mr. Roland holds a Master’s degree in economic policy and information management from the University of Economics in Prague.
